Contribution Tickets
Contribution Tickets are available for purchase through Crystal Charity Ball members and by calling The Crystal Charity Ball office at 214.526.5868. Tickets will also be sold the night of the Ball on December 9. Contribution Tickets offer the chance to win one of six fabulous prizes listed on pages 9-15 of the auction catalog: Choice of vehicle, valued at $100,000, compliments of Sewell Automotive Companies; a $25,000 Pre-Paid Visa Card, compliments of Prosperity Bank; $5,000 Gift Certificate each Season to STANLEY KORSHAK – valued at $20,000, a Couples Custom Wardrobe and British Motoring Experience by Clements and Church, a $20,000 Shopping Spree in Highland Park Village, compliments of Highland Park Village, a $10,000 Gift Certificate to Eiseman Jewels NorthPark Center and the Crystal Charity Gold Ticket.
Special Gifts Ticket
Our $100 Gold Special Gifts Ticket is available for purchase through Crystal Charity Ball members or by calling The Crystal Charity Ball office at 214.526.5868. Tickets will also be sold the night of the Ball on December 9. The $100 Ticket offers the possibility of winning Special Gifts Packages, listed on pages 223 to 233 of the auction catalog valued at a minimum of $1,000.
Contribution Ticket/Special Gifts Terms and Conditions
Restrictions apply to some donations. The Crystal Charity Ball does not endorse any of the products or services listed in this catalog. Our generous donors set the value of the items. No returns or exchanges are allowed on merchandise. Gift certificates/gift cards expire on December 9, 2024, unless otherwise specified by the donor.
The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no income tax charitable deduction is available for the purchase of a raffle ticket. The Crystal Charity Ball will collect withholding tax of 25% on raffle prizes valued at $5,000 and over. This tax must be remitted to The Crystal Charity Ball before the prize is awarded.
Silent Auction
The Crystal Charity Ball Silent Auction will be held online from 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023, through 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 and will feature more than 200 luxury packages in 7 categories: Travel, Fine Jewelry, Sports & Experiences, Fashion, Beauty & Wellness, Dining and Home & Garden. A detailed description of each package can be found on pages 17 to 222 of the auction catalog. Auction items will be on display at the Ball on December 9.
Silent Auction Rules
- Bidding will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023.
- Bidding will close at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
- Those who wish to participate in the Silent Auction should register their credit card and mobile number at crystalcharityball.muradbid.com. For registration assistance, please contact Mary Ann Vacilek at The Crystal Charity Ball office, 214-526-5868 x 12. Registration will also be available at the Ball on December 9. You do not need to attend the Ball to bid in the auction.
- If a bidder wishes to purchase an item immediately, the bidder may click on “Buy This Item Now.” The “Buy This Item Now” price is the price the bidder pays to end the bidding and purchase the item. The “Buy This Item Now” price may include a premium over fair market value.
- Items may be picked up at the Ball after the 11:45 p.m. closing of the auction OR can be picked up at The Crystal Charity Ball office the week of Monday, December 11, 2023.
- All auction items are sold on an “as is” basis.
- NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES PERMITTED INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BY REASON OF COVID-19 OR SIMILAR EVENTS.
- In the event of a dispute, The Crystal Charity Ball Auction Official shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder or resell the item in dispute.
- Air transportation, hotels and trip arrangements are subject to availability and must be reserved in advance.
- Air transportation is not included in any travel package specifically unless noted.
- Taxes, resort fees and gratuities are not included unless specifically noted.
- Unless otherwise specified, all gift certificates and vouchers must be used by December 9, 2024, are subject to blackout dates, may not be extended under any circumstance, are based upon availability, are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or sold.
- No item purchased at The Crystal Charity Ball may be presented to the donor or The Crystal Charity Ball for a cash refund, an exchange, or credit toward another item.
- Bidders must be at least 18 years of age.
- All bids are binding once made and cannot be retracted.
- Any auction item may be changed or withdrawn prior to the auction.
- The stated value of each auction item was established solely by the donors of such items and The Crystal Charity Ball makes no representations regarding any such values.
AAdvantage® Miles Certificates Terms and Conditions
- Certificate must be deposited online at www.depositAAmiles.com.
- Mileage credit can be deposited only once on or before the expiration date.
- Certificate is not redeemable for cash.
- Certificate may not be purchased, sold or bartered.
- Certificate is not transferable and may be used only by the individual named on the certificate or by his/her spouse or dependent child. Other family members are not eligible to redeem the certificate.
- Only original certificates will be honored. Certificate is void if reproduced, altered, counterfeited, obtained or used improperly. Fraud or abuse is subject to administrative and/or legal action by American Airlines, including, without limitation, the forfeiture or confiscation of all mileage certificates and award certificates and any accrued mileage in a member’s account, as well as cancellation of the account and prohibition of member’s future participation in the AAdvantage program.
- Lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed certificates will not be replaced by American Airlines.
- Determination of income tax liability on AAdvantage Miles Certificates and AAdvantage travel awards is the responsibility of the holder.
- The holder of the certificate has only the limited right to surrender same to American Airlines in accordance with terms and conditions stated herein for crediting of mileage at American Airlines, and is subject to all AAdvantage program terms and conditions. American Airlines may change AAdvantage program rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers at any time, which changes may have retroactive effect. This means that American Airlines may initiate changes impacting, for example, participant affiliations, rules for earning mileage credit, mileage levels and rules for the use of travel awards, continued availability of awards, embargo dates and limited seating for travel awards, and the features of special offers. American Airlines reserves the right to end the AAdvantage program with six months notice. AAdvantage travel awards, mileage accrual and special offers are subject to government regulations.
