About our Event

Empty Bowls McKinney is an annual event that features a showcase of one-of-a-kind bowls handcrafted by professional and student artists. Guests enjoy a sampling of gourmet soups and more prepared by chefs from local restaurants. They take home one of these empty bowls as a "thank you" and as a reminder of those who are food insecure in our local community.

Proceeds of the event go to Community Lifeline Center to help provide food for their Community Lifeline Market as well as Feeding Friends and Families mobile distributions and to Community Garden Kitchen to serve hot meals to anyone in need, no questions asked.

Our event is located at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in downtown McKinney.
