Flutter & Fizz is a benefit for the Dallas Zoo, hosted by the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Dallas.
On April 19th, our guests will be among the first to experience the Zoo’s brand-new walk-through butterfly exhibit set in a lush indoor landscape filled with hundreds of fluttering beauties and vibrant blooms.
Our goal is to raise $250,000 in support of the Dallas Zoo’s major capital campaign to develop exciting new habitats and educational facilities. As one of the region’s most beloved cultural institutions, the Zoo welcomes over a million visitors each year, primarily families and children.
At this level of giving, we have the opportunity to secure meaningful naming rights, ensuring that our presence makes a lasting impact. In today’s political climate, we believe it is more important than ever to reaffirm our community’s role in society and in shaping a more inclusive future.
We also hope that future generations of young people questioning their sexuality or gender identity feel a sense of validation and belonging when they see the Gay & Lesbian Fund for Dallas proudly represented on the donor wall.
The Gay & Lesbian Fund for Dallas is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. All funds raised through Flutter & Fizz, net of event expenses, will be contributed to the Dallas Zoo. GLFD proudly advocates for the entire LGBTQ+ community.
