What even is an in-home Live Stream Event?

In place of our traditional annual gala, we have a handful of couples that are hosting a viewing party for our Live Auction on the 23rd. The auctioneer will stream into each home & you will have the ability to bid on fabulous items and experiences from your phone, competing with the other host homes around the metroplex.

Who can attend the auction & do I need to buy a ticket?

Parents, alumni, family, and friends of THS are all invited! You will need to register for both the silent & live-streamed event. You will not need to purchase a ticket for the silent auction but in order to receive access and bidding capabilities for the livestream event on April 23, you will need to purchase a ticket.

How much does a ticket for the livestream cost?

It is $75/person if you attend an in-home gathering & $25/person if you want to stream from your home. If you want to attend an in-home gathering but are unsure where to go, please contact Jordan Gardenhire.

How do I access the virtual auction?


Register and/or login at thehighlands.muradbid.com or text thehighlands to 56651 for a personalized link to the bidding center. Watch this video to learn how to join the virtual event and bid in the silent auction.

HOW IT WORKS

Virtual Check-In

Register and/or login at www.thehighlands.muradbid.com, or text thehighlands to 56651 for a personalized link to the bidding center.

Bidding

After you register and have a credit card on file, you may bid from your mobile phone or computer. For the live-streamed auction on April 23rd, we recommend placing bids from your phone while you watch the virtual event on your TV or computer screen. Watch this video to learn more about bidding in the silent auctions. 

Silent Auction

The Silent Auction will open Sunday, April 18 at 10:00am and close on Friday, April 23rd during the live-streamed event that begins at 8:00pm. You will receive instant notifications if you are the highest bidder or if you have been outbid. There will be an option to set your max bid price per item. The last bid on an item when the Silent Auction closes will be declared the winner.

Big Ticket Items

The Big Ticket Item Category is reserved for those Silent Auction items guaranteed to turn your head! All Big Ticket Item bids follow the same rules and procedures as Silent Auction bids.

Buy It Now

Some items have a "buy it now" button. This option is so you can bypass the bidding race and claim the item for yourself early! Don't miss out on the most priceless The Highlands Experiences and Buy it Now!

Check Out

At the close of auction, each guest will be notified of their winning items and be prompted to submit final payment. If you forget to check out, we will charge your credit card on file. Receipts will be sent via email.

Item Pick Up

Any item that can be sent virtually will be sent to you using your email registered in the bidding system. Anyone with physical items will be contacted with pick-up instructions. Winning bidders may pick up their items in the front office on Wednesday, April 28th through Friday, April 30th from 8am-4pm. Detailed instructions will follow.

The Fine Print

All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds are permitted. All items sold "AS IS." Please read your gift certificates carefully as some items may have restrictions. We are grateful for your support.
