◦ By providing scholarships to cover 100% of family travel and lodging costs, families that have never had access to conferences and other MPS events due to financial hardship, will now be able to attend. Our goal is to ensure that these families receive priority access to scholarships so that they may connect with the community and our partners for the first time since diagnosis. On average, our surveys have shown that partial scholarships do not provide access to events for families suffering from greater financial hardships. With that, we have adjusted our policies to be equitable and inclusive as possible. Project Alive is committed to providing additional funding to these scholarships as needed as exact costs cannot be predicted.
