Where Precision Meets Big Tex-Sized Impact
The Big Tex Clay Shoot Classic is more than a day on the range. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that only the State Fair of Texas can deliver. From station to station, shooters enjoy a premium tournament atmosphere, raffles, and networking opportunities infused with State Fair flair.
This year’s event will once again be hosted at the Dallas Gun Club, the perfect way to end the work week with friends, clients, and colleagues.
When the last clay target is hit, the fun is just getting started. Guests are invited to stick around for a lively happy hour and a high-energy live auction featuring unique experiences, all while celebrating the impact we are making together.
Every dollar – 100% – raised through the Big Tex Clay Shoot Classic benefits the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and Scholarship Programs, which have provided more than $21.4 million in auction awards and college scholarships to Texas students since 2018 alone. Last year, the event raised more than $455,000 in support of Texas youth, and this year we’re aiming even higher.

The State Fair of Texas is passionate about agriculture, education, and supporting students through the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction & Scholarship Programs.
All commitments are final and considered charitable contributions to the organization. As such, they are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The State Fair is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Any contribution of $250 or more will receive a tax letter noting the deductible portion of a contribution.

WHERE: Dallas Gun Club - 3601 S. Stemmons Freeway Lewisville, TX 75067 This is a rain or shine event. We will continue monitoring the weather with the National Weather Service and will ensure proper safety protocols are taken, if necessary. Event day schedule — coming soon This is a cashless event. Please remember to bring a check, credit, or debit card to purchase golf carts, ammo, Helice game tickets, and raffle tickets! Golf Carts: $150 each, accommodating four passengers. Golf carts are not included with team or sponsorship purchase. Ammo: $15 per box of 25 shells - 20 gauge $14 per box of 25 shells - 12 gauge ZZ Bird Game Tickets: $20 per person $40 for teams of two Raffle Tickets: $25 per ticket 5 for $100 10 for $175 25 for $400 100 for $1,250 All items can be purchased ahead of time here! 100% of every dollar spent goes straight into the hands of Texas students! Additional Reminders: If you have already purchased your golf cart, you will pick up your keys at the golf cart pick-up station. Waivers must be completed before April 24. Express check-in lanes are available to teams who have all waivers complete! Any outstanding balances for sponsorships, teams, or golf carts must be paid upon arrival, before your scheduled flight. |
