At the heart of the night is the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and the students whose hard work and leadership make this tradition so meaningful.

100% of every dollar raised fuels the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction and Scholarship Programs, helping students pursue higher education, develop leadership skills, and carry forward the values that define Texas.

Through Saddle Up and the support of the Big Tex Champion Club — the Fair’s dedicated buyers community — more premiums are placed on student projects while also advancing the Big Tex Scholarship Program, which has awarded more than $20 million in scholarships to over 3,700 Texas students.
