Anthony Edwards

Award-Winning Actor, Director & Producer; Golden Globe Winner for "ER"; Star of "Top Gun"

We are honored to welcome Anthony Edwards as a featured speaker at our Champions for Children Denton County Luncheon.

Edwards is widely recognized for his iconic portrayal of Dr. Mark Greene on ER, a role that earned him four Emmy nominations, three Screen Actors Guild Awards, and a Golden Globe Award. His distinguished career spans more than twenty feature films, including his memorable performance as “Goose” in Top Gun, along with numerous acclaimed television appearances.

Most recently, Edwards has appeared in WeCrashed (Apple TV+) and Inventing Anna (Netflix), with additional television credits including Law & Order True Crime: The Menendez Murders, Billions, Blue Bloods, Girls, and Northern Exposure. He will next be seen in the FX drama series Seven Sisters.

In addition to his work on screen, Edwards has maintained a notable presence in theater, with recent performances in The Counter at Roundabout Theatre Company and Prayer for the French Republic. His extensive stage credits also include Children of a Lesser God, A Month in the Country, Frozen, Harvey, and Black Water.

Beyond his work on screen, Edwards is a survivor and a passionate advocate for survivors of child sexual abuse.
