Chase’s Place School, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, opened its doors in 2003 as one of the first schools of its kind in the DFW area. We serve students ages 5 through young adulthood with moderate to severe developmental disabilities. In addition to traditional academic subjects, the curriculum at Chase’s Place includes social and emotional health, sensory integration, daily living skills, community training, speech and occupational therapy. Chase’s Place maintains an exceptional 1:2 teacher/student ratio, ensuring highly individualized instruction and support.

Our annual gala is a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and directlysupports the life-changing programs and services provided to ourstudents. It features an art auction with a unique collection of “LittleMasterpieces” created by Chase’s Place students and local artists. The result is gallery-worthy pieces that tell a story all their own. Proceeds from each piece assist with programming expenses that support student growth.

Art with Heart and Purpose

Local artists partner with the talented students of Chase’s Place to create a one of a kind collection known as Little Masterpieces. Each piece begins as original artwork created by a Chase’s Place student and is thoughtfully enhanced by professional artists who generously donate their time and talent. The result is a truly unique collaboration, celebrating creativity, inclusion, and community.

Through this artistic partnership, students gain valuable opportunities to build functional life skills that extend far beyond the canvas. These experiences support the development of fine and gross motor skills, strength, and range of motion, while also fostering positive social interaction and essential executive functioning skills such as focus, sequencing, communication, and following directions.

Proceeds from the sale of each Little Masterpiece directly support Chase’s Place programming, helping to promote continued growth in social emotional health, community training, recreation, communication, functional academics, and motor development.
