ABOUT THE SPEAKER
After his conversion to the Catholic faith, Trent Horn earned master’s degrees in the fields of theology, philosophy, and bioethics. He serves as a staff apologist for Catholic Answers, where he specializes in teaching Catholics to graciously and persuasively engage those who disagree with them.
Trent models that approach each week on the radio program Catholic Answers Live and on his own podcast, The Counsel of Trent. He has also been invited to debate at UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, and Stanford University.
An expert in defending the pro-life position as well as the Catholic faith, Trent is an adjunct professor of apologetics at Holy Apostles College and has written for The National Catholic Bioethics Quarterly, and is the author of nine books, including Answering Atheism, The Case for Catholicism, and Persuasive Pro Life: How to Talk about Our Culture's Toughest Issue and 20 Answers: Abortion.
In a year when his speaking schedule has been greatly reduced as his wife continues her recovery from serious surgery, we are honored to be one of the few organizations welcoming Trent Horn to the stage. His presence at the Bishop’s Pro-Life Dinner is a true gift — and a testament to his unwavering dedication to proclaiming the truth with charity and courage.

A Note on Use of Donor Advised Funds

Please note:
Per IRS regulations, donor-advised funds (DAFs) may not be used to pay for gala tickets, table purchases, sponsorships, auction items, or any portion of this event in which you or your guests receive a personal benefit — including meals, reserved seating, gifts, or event experiences.
However, if you would like to support the event, you are welcome to:
Personally pay the non-deductible portion (the value of golf, meals, and other benefits), and
Recommend a grant from your DAF for the remaining deductible portion.
We also gratefully accept general donations from DAFs that are not connected to event participation or benefits.
