What is the theme?

The theme Out of This World invites everyone to embark on a journey through boundless realms of wonder, curiosity, and future possibilities. It inspires guests to envision a universe brimming with exploration and innovation.

How does the Silent Auction work?

The Silent Auction is LIVE! Bid on your favorite items, then celebrate in person at the South Side Ballroom on Saturday, February 28! Silent Auction will close on Sunday, March 1 at 9:00 pm.

When can we see the Live Auction items?

All Lamplighter families should have received the LPA Auction Book via their child's backpack!  You can preview Live, Big Board, & Featured Auction items, in addition to unique teacher offerings, a list of event sponsors, corporate advertisements, and adorable family tributes. Live Auction items are also available for preview when you log in to bid on Silent Auction items.

What if I can’t attend the LPA Auction event but I want to bid on a Live Auction item? 

Proxy bidding is available! You can find the Proxy Bid Form in the most recent eNews or contact The Lamplighter Advancement Office for further details at advancement@thelamplighterschool.org.

What are Auction Socials?

Auction Socials are events hosted by the LPA Auction Committee throughout the year to keep parents and kids engaged in the Lamplighter community and to raise funds for the school. This year's stellar Auction Socials did not disappoint! Thank you to our incredible LPA Socials Co-Chairs - Brielle Pollak, Lindsay Shipp, Shawn Klein, & Whitney Turner - for all of their planning and commitment this year.

*Underwriters at the Rocket Racer level and above receive admission to Auction Socials as part of their underwriting packages (quantity depends on underwriting level). Review underwriting packages through the menu at the top-right corner.

What are Class Projects?

Each grade level has a specific project (artwork, book, etc.) available for purchase. This is an optional memento to celebrate the Lamplighter Spirit in your student(s). Purchase class projects through the menu at the top-right corner.

What are Class Pets?

Pre-K through T1 classes each have an outer space-themed book and corresponding class pet (stuffed animal or character) that have been going home with our students over the last few months! Class pets will be available for bidding through the Silent Auction. These are HOT ITEMS!

Surprise your child by announcing their birthday or half-birthday with their name on the Murray Swain Ring Road electronic board. Weekend birthday? Start the celebration early on Friday or keep the party going through Monday! Summer Birthday? Celebrate their half-birthday or kick off summer with a birthday message!
