By participating in the 2025 JPS Foundation White Coat Gala Silent Auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Bidding Process
- All bids must be placed in the manner described via the digital bidding platform.
- Each bid constitutes a binding agreement to purchase the item at the stated price if declared the winning bidder.
- Bids may not be retracted once placed.
Winning Bids
- The highest valid bid received at the close of the auction will be deemed the winning bid.
- All sales are final. No exchanges, refunds, or returns will be made under any circumstances.
- In the event of a dispute, the Silent Auction Committee’s decision shall be final and binding.
Payment
- Payment in full is required at the conclusion of the auction.
- Accepted payment methods include credit card or check.
- Items not paid for by the end of the event may be offered to the next highest bidder at the committee’s discretion.
Item Pickup and Redemption
- Winning bidders are responsible for picking up their items at the close of the event unless otherwise specified.
- Gift certificates or experiences must be used by the stated expiration date and are subject to the terms and availability of the donor.
- The auction organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unclaimed items after the event.
Item Descriptions and Values
- All items and services have been donated to support JPS Foundation.
- Descriptions and values provided are based on information supplied by the donors and are deemed accurate but not guaranteed.
- No statement made in connection with the auction shall be deemed a warranty or representation of the auction organizers.
Liability Disclaimer
- All items are offered “as is.”
- JPS Foundation, its staff, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss that may result from the use or redemption of any auction item or service.
Tax Information
- Contributions in excess of fair market value may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
